🔑 How to connect OpenAI via API to the app

In order to use the AI tools in SocialPoster, you need to connect your OpenAI account to the app. Don't worry, it's easier than it sounds. Just follow the steps below.

I. Obtain your OpenAI API keys

1.- Go to the OpenAI website. Create an account.

2.- After you enter your personal information, the following screen will appear asking where do you wish to go. Select API. 

3.- Click on your profile picture at the top right corner and in the dropdown menu, select 'View API keys'.

4.- Click on 'Create new secret key'.

5.- Give it a name to identify it, and click on 'Create secret key'.

6.- Copy the provided code.

II. Input your OpenAI API keys into the app

Different API keys must be inserted in each of the different tools that use Artificial Intelligence within the app. Let's go through each one.

Input your OpenAI keys into the WhatsApp Chatbot

Connecting the API keys in the Chatbot section will allow you to train an AI to answer your WhatsApp messages. Here is a step by step video on how to do it. Make sure to play it on HD Quality to enjoy it better.

Input your OpenAI keys into the AI Composer

The API key you connect in this section will allow you to use the different content generators in the app.

1.- Log into the app and click on 'AI Composer' in the left sidebar.

2.- Go to Settings.

3.- Paste the OpenAI API key in the corresponding field.

4.- Click on 'Update' to save.
